Uniglo Diamonds and the Responsible Jewellery Council

Uniglo BV joined the Responsible Jewellery Council in March 2022. The RJC’s published certificate records Uniglo BV as certified against the 2019 Code of Practices for the period 10 May 2023 to 10 May 2026, under certification number 0000 4646. The certificate lists Uniglo Diamonds BV in Antwerp, Belgium, with natural and laboratory-grown polished diamond trading in its scope. The audit firm named on that certificate is Intertek Italia Spa. The published certification period ended on 10 May 2026. We will update this page with any subsequent certification details after a renewed certificate is available for verification. RJC certification assesses a company’s practices within the stated audit scope; it does not certify an individual diamond. Our policies address human rights, labour practices, responsible sourcing, business ethics, environmental protection, product integrity, health and safety, and financial compliance. These policies guide our own operations and our expectations of relevant business partners. They are supported by internal procedures and reviewed as our business and the standards affecting it change. Responsible sourcing also requires attention to the businesses and transactions behind the goods. Our Supply Chain Policy & Procedure explains our commitments on human rights, supplier due diligence, bribery and corruption, money laundering and concerns raised about the supply chain. Buyers who need supporting information for a particular parcel or transaction should tell us what evidence their own purchasing process requires so we can explain what is available for the proposed goods.

Employees, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders may raise concerns about workplace practices, human rights, business conduct or the diamond supply chain. Include the issue, any relevant dates or transactions, and a way to contact you if you would like a reply. You may also use this address to request a copy of our grievance procedure.

We review concerns fairly and handle information confidentially as far as practicable. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is prohibited. The person handling a concern may ask for further details, examine the available information and communicate the outcome or next step to the person who raised it. Using this process does not prevent anyone from using other available complaint or legal channels.
